This is an old copper engraving from Wagenaar's history of Amsterdam depicting the events of March 22, 1534, when a number of Anabaptists walked through Amsterdam with drawn swords. The title of the print is: "Uproar of the sword-bearers, in 1534."
Dimensions: paper measures approx. 22.5 x 28.5 cm. Image measures approx. 12 x 15 cm.
Condition: paper somewhat browned due to age. Print has two vertical fold lines (as published). Number written in the upper right corner.
