For sale is a beautiful, more than 250 year old scientific print about physics experiments. This copper engraving comes from the 'Collection Academique' published by publisher Fournier in 1755 in Dijon (France). This French book describes and shows experiments that were done at the Del Cimento Academy in Florence (Italy).

Parts of this text can be found in the images above. The images on the left are about the shrinking and expanding of a copper ring in fire and ice. T he text about the instruments on the right is a bit unclear.
