Beautiful Japanese print by Kitao Shigemasa. The print is mounted on cardboard with a semi-transparent sheet for protection.

Dimensions: 14 x 30.5 cm (print) 21 x 38 (whole)

Condition: the print has some minor damage, please see the photos. In good overall condition.

Provenance: this print comes from the estate of a collector. The prints from his collection were mapped in 1999 by the experts of Hotei Japanese prints. However, this print is not on the list of prints. It is unclear whether this is an original (the paper and the care with which the print is mounted indicate this) or a later reprint (the number 1918 is on the back, which could be an indication of this).
