Beautiful, large copper engraving of the Oudemanhuispoort in Amsterdam from the famous atlas by Fouquet. At that time, the old men and women's hospital was located there. In the 20th and 21st century, the Faculty of Law of the UvA was located there.
Condition: issued with a vertical centrefold, to the left of the centrefold a faint vertical fold line is visible. Dog-ear at bottom right and top right. Paper somewhat discoloured due to age. Stain in top margin.
