A set of 3 old prints that served as illustrations for scientific articles.
These copper engravings come from the 'Collection Academique' published by the publisher Fournier in 1755 in Dijon (France). This French book contains a number of translated articles that were previously (around 1680) published in the well-known Journal des Scavans.
Dimensions: 28.5 x 26 cm (person with hat) 28.5 x 26.5 cm (8 or 9 legged animal) and 28.5 x 36 cm
Condition: the prints are in good condition (= some small signs of age / use). Published with one or two vertical fold lines.
