A pair of old copper engravings from Wagenaar's history of Amsterdam, depicting the burning at the stake. One print (21) depicts a sentence by the Spanish Inquisition, the other (22) depicts the burning of eight Anabaptists in 1549.

Dimensions: Paper measures approximately 22 x 33 cm. Images are each approximately 12 x 15 cm.

Condition: Paper slightly browned due to age. Prints have two vertical fold lines. Number written in the upper right corner.
